Wheelchair Basketball 2026
Thanks to our Innovation Funding, students recently took part in an action-packed Wheelchair Basketball experience, and it was a huge success. From the moment the session began, students were fully engaged, eager to get involved and keen to challenge themselves in a fast‑paced, inclusive sport.
The activity encouraged teamwork, resilience and confidence, with everyone showing fantastic enthusiasm and determination throughout. Students thoroughly enjoyed learning new skills, supporting one another and experiencing the game from a different perspective. It was inspiring to see such high levels of participation, motivation and enjoyment, making the session both memorable and empowering for all involved.
Ancient Egyptian Workshop
On Tuesday 24th March, Key Stage 3 took part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop for the entire day. ‘Merit’ joined us to teach students about the mummification process and to share fascinating stories about the Egyptian gods and goddesses.
Students enjoyed a range of hands‑on activities, including playing traditional games, becoming scribes using reeds, ink and papyrus, writing their names in hieroglyphics, and examining a collection of artifacts and amulets.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable and enriching day for everyone involved.
